Classic & Feminine never gets old

From Balenciaga to Lanvin and being torn by Arden and Dior, I'm glad he made the proper choice. Where would Hollywood be without the Oscar de la Renta dresses?

I AM WILLIAM RAST

GGC

As some of you may already know, since I’ve blogged about this recently, I have embarked on a journey with some of my oldest and closest friends. A journey that takes us to new levels in our relationships with not only each other but with God and our communities.

The Grace generation church is a new church ministry in Calgary, AB that is affiliated with the Canadian National Baptist Convention. The vision for this church is to be a place where people can come as they are, at whatever stage or situation they are in life. We want to be a positive force in this community, serving those who work and live here.

We thank you for your on going prayers and support. Please keep the prayers coming. We have recently started worship services and events! But we can’t forget about reality either, to help keep our staff afloat and to help us be able to keep putting on events around the city, we also welcome any financial support you may be able to give. If you wish to make a donation to the Grace Generation Church, please send to the following address:

Grace Generation Church of Calgary
PO Box 29076
Hidden Valley RPO NW
Calgary, AB

Cheques should be payable to “Grace Generation church of Calgary”

We are working with Canada Revenue Agency to establish a charity number and we are expecting to receive one by the end of the year. Please make sure you send us your name and contact information, so that we are able to send you a tax receipt before the 2009 tax deadline.

THE LAWYER TURNED AUTHOR

Photobucket

When I was about 15 years old, my mother handed me my very first John Grisham novel. Ever since then, I have not been able to put down his books. Formerly a lawyer, its only natural that most of his fiction is inspired by crime & the justice system. I have never started a story of his and not finished it. He has to be one of the most riveting, exciting, suspenseful, powerful storytellers to ever hit the #1 New York Times bestseller list. Considering he has several books on that best seller list, YOU more than likely have already read one or a few of his novels, but if you have yet to discover his genius, I suggest you fix that immediately. My favorite of Grisham’s? It’s a tie between the heart-warming story of a family in “A Painted House” and the heart pounding “The Partner”. John Grisham by far, has become my favorite author over the years. So to him, thank you for writing such amazing stories to keep my mind entertained and trained! Cheers.

IT'S A RE-INTRODUCTION

“None of us is in this game alone. With each project I begin, I’m reminded of the importance of listening, of appreciating and taking advantage of all the creative, dynamic, and wonderfully bizarre people in my life. And like any good listener, I know it’s my duty to share this wealth of influence with others. Whether it’s my family, my friends, a novel I’ve read a hundred times over, or my favorite painting. I’m really just the sum of many different parts. Ultimately, that’s what this book blog is about. I’ve been inspired, surprised, supported, and yes, influenced by every person I’ve talked to/mentioned in this book blog. Their stories, Bodies of work and lives are like open vaults of creativity. Whenever life feels like a dreary place, these individuals know how to make the most out of any situation. I turn to the people on these pages, in one way or another to keep me afloat.”
