I LOVE MENSWEAR INSPIRATION -- PAUL SMITH RTW F/W 2011

I don't know about you , but when I watch a collection come down the runway, I'm not day dreaming about owning those items (okay, maybe sometimes), but instead I'm looking to be inspired. I've always loved the menswear look, but this collection took it to a whole new level for me. 

THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS pt. 2

My last trip to Vancouver, BC proved to be a great shopping one! That trip produced 2 of my most fave purchases of 2010. Up above is the limited item flagship only 'Clarice' skirt made by Club Monaco for the F/W 2 line. With the body made of 100% Woven Silk and the trim made of 100% Genuine Ostrich feathers it was a no brainer. After that wonderful purchase, I ran across Robson street to Little Burgundy and the first pair of shoes that caught my eye were the James Campbell Lita Booties seen below. Now, I never thought I would be a lita wearing kinda girl. My good friend Breezie convinced me to try them on anyways and it was love at first sight. Not only did I need a new pair of booties, I also needed Navy Shoes. The major platform doesn't hurt either. The best part? I live in Calgary, probably the only city left in the world where these boots still cause a reaction.
